History at Noon

Dennis McCarthy, Director of St. Lawrence River Historical Foundation will present a program titled “His Majesty Schooner the Anson late the Iroquoise (1759-1761)” Learn her story and the underwater Archaeology investigations that identified the last French War Ship of Louis the 15th on the Great Lakes. The program is free and the public is welcome. That evening there will be a History Boat Tour to the site of the shipwreck near Niagara Shoal above the TI Bridge. The shipwreck is not visible as the water is too deep.
