Thousand Island Park History Boat Tour

This will be our second year to head to Thousand Island Park, home of many beautiful Victorian homes. Tom French, author of “River Views – A History of the Thousand Islands in 3-D” will be our guide on a walking tour around the park. He will pass along the history of the park which started in 1874 as a Methodist summer camp with people staying in tents for the season. The tour will leave at 4:30 to allow us more time to enjoy the park and its history. While at the park we will visit the museum there, at which time we will divide into two groups as the museum is not set up for large groups. The second group will head for the Guzzle, well known for its wonderful ice cream. If you so desire, you can purchase some ice cream while awaiting your turn to visit the museum. This tour is limited to 50 people. Cost is $46.00 per person.
