Sunset History Boat Tour
Join us for a “Fleet of Lost Ships” tour. We will head toward the Thousand Islands Bridge, the site of several shipwrecks including the Sir Robert Peel and the Jodrey. His Majesty’s Schooner the Anson (later called the Iroquoise (1759-1761) sunk there. There was a Court of Inquiry held in 1761 concerning her sinking – we hope to have this record read during the tour. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the museum at 415 686-5794. Boats fill quickly so make your reservation early. Please not the shipwrecks are not visible as the water is too deep.
